Went diving with my newly cert son. Worked with to get him more comfortable in the water and refine some skills. I also gave him an intro to deeper diving (70'-80') as well as got his girlfriend cert. Fun year hope to get more diving in this year.

Let's see 2007:
Got serious again about diving, went Tech - bought the requisite garage of gear....
Fortunately in the process found a couple of excellent tech instructors, which led to:
IANTD: Deep Diver, Adv. EANx, Adv. Rec Trimix, Normoxic ; Cross Cert: TDI Trimix
Stepped down to 200ft...
Now in 2008 - time to bed down the skills...Dive, Dive, oh..yeah Dive
Mind you those rebreathers are cool....

Got my 100th dive in January and my son, commercial diver, told me I was a good dive buddy.

- completed Advanced Nitrox/Deco
- completed Trimix 1
- almost completed Trimix 2 (still one dive to do)
- did my first (several) dive(s) below 200 feet ... and came back safely
- made my first trip to Cozumel ... and my first venture into the Cenotes
- made my first trip to Southern California
- got my scooter
- managed to spend almost 10 days (238 hours) underwater

- complete Trimix 2
- spend three weeks in Indonesia
- do my 2,000th dive
- dive some deep walls in Vancouver Island
- finally make it to Port Hardy

I started by completing DM in February. My 11 year old son got certified this summer, and I was able to log my 100th dive. This has been as great diving year for me with my new dive buddy! He's an awesome diver too. Can't wait to see what this year holds for us.
