If conditions are such that a fall is likely (e.g. waves, poor vis, or slippery conditions) put your regulator in your mouth BEFORE your feet hit the water.

Also, if you manage to do a face plant into something hard, a regulator cover is much cheaper than dental work.

On the east coast of UAE we have to do a shore entry just to access the boats :rofl3:

Can be challenging sometimes, especially carrying a few kilos of camera gear

We had to do the same in Tenerife. The dive center preferred that method to using the harbour, which we also sometimes did. I preferred the harbour... beach to boat cost us up to 30 bar, and some bruises :blush:
