This site is starting to drive me crazy. There are a number of places I visit and this place is by far the slowest sometimes. On any given visit some pages will load quickly and some seem to take forever. I note that while I am waiting down in the corner it is usually waitng for adserve or another place. I have a high speed connection and this problem is totally unique to scuba board.

I am experiencing the same thing. I have a decent internet connection and can stream video but loading SB pages are slow. This did not happen before the upgrade.

The villian seems to be ...adserve... I notice that when I am waiting that is what I am often waiting form

I am seeing it in about 1 in 5 times of moving from 1 thread to another. Sometimes as much as 15 or 20 seconds.

Can you guys see posted photos? Sometimes it works and other times it doesn't. The computer just hangs and the photos never display.

Perhaps it is moving like molasses because it is winter. Less folks diving and on the Interwebz for their diving fix. :D

It's slow for me too.

What browser and version are you using? I know on my system, IE 11 will not load pictures at all. Yet when I use chrome Version 38.0.2125.111 m I don't have any issues with photos.

For any of you running window or linux you can add the following line to you host file and it should fix your problem (just make it the last line)..
Linux= etc/hosts
Windows = C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts
0.0.0.0 adserver.abv.bg

Here is an example of the hosts file:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
# For example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

Now with the modification:
# Copyright (c) 1993-2009 Microsoft Corp.
#
# This is a sample HOSTS file used by Microsoft TCP/IP for Windows.
#
# This file contains the mappings of IP addresses to host names. Each
# entry should be kept on an individual line. The IP address should
# be placed in the first column followed by the corresponding host name.
# The IP address and the host name should be separated by at least one
# space.
#
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
# lines or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#

#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com # source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host

# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost

127.0.0.1 localhost
0.0.0.0 adserver.abv.bg
