You may want to try www.scuba.com they are an authorized dive shop out of southern California. I buy pretty much everything from them. They also have very inexpensive shipping costs (minimal in the overall scheme of things). Good Luck!!!!
Sorry didn't see that you were from Canada. Big 5 Sporting Goods is a Western U.S. retailer. If I were you I would just probably buy the Costco deal or maybe you could contact US Divers to find a local Toronto dealer.
Here is a link to an online retailer that sells the US Divers line...
Costco is great. If the mask doesn't fit right, you can just take it back for a full refund. I am sure she will be pleased. I would however also look at Big 5. They have the US Divers line for a really inexpensive price. BTW, I still use the US Divers (Avalon)mask for scuba as it fits me...
$300.00 is one expensive pool session. Bottom line is that this LDS is in the habbit of taking their customers for all they got. Good Luck with that business plan!
Are you pregnant?
J/K seriously I am no doctor, but that could actually be a case of Irritable Bowel Disease. Look up IBD and check out the symptoms or better yet go to a GI doctor and get a check up. I doubt that it has anything to do with that dive. Good Luck...
I can understand this point of view. For me, I want the D9 which will set me back over a grand. It was better for me to buy the Atmos 1 console until I could afford to drop the dough.
I agree the Atmos 1 is a great value for the diver that dives air. Couldn't imagine buying a bottom timer for the same price as what the Atmos 1 costs. This computer does have a safety stop, it is safe and easy to understand. Some people that have not used one may state otherwise.
Puget
I have the Atmos 1.
It does have the safety stop timer and the computer itself is VERRRRRRY easy to follow. I would recommend it to anyone that only dives air (not Nitrox). I love it personally. If you plan on diving Nitrox, the Atmos 2 would be a better fit and is basically the same...
Roche Harbor, San Juan Island WA. Best place to spend the 4th. Johnny Carson would bring in his huge yacht every year for the festivities. Going to miss him this year.....
To answer your question, Yes you can let water in. All you have to do is pull on your neck seal to get water in the suit. The semi-dry is the way to go in cold water. There is very little water movement through your suit. Good Luck!!!

Whoooa, take a deep breath. ok, now tell us how you really feel.
BTW, As a Doctor would you like to see more people have the right to NOT where their seat belt? Driver responsibility right?
I use a 1 piece7/5MM Tilos semi-dry and 5/3MM vest to decrease the amount of lead I have to carry. I also feel that I have a better range of motion with the 1 piece and vest. The farmer john may be a little warmer all around but that will depend on your ability to tolerate cold and your local...
I would imagine that the amount of diver deaths due to years of diving inactivity before the accident is pretty low. For this reason, the certification agencies really have no incentive to change. Sorry if I was a little unclear.
