How to set Nitrox levels in old TUSA IQ 700

Old technology, but I'm looking for a simple computer just to tell me where I am re depth and deco limits. Well, I'm the simple one as I can't figure out the manual for steps to enter my nitrox levels before a dive. Would appreciate guidance.

    M Zuiko 14-42mm questions

I'm reasonably happy with my M Zuiko 14-42mm all-purpose lens on my E-PL5, particularly if I'm just lookin' around, but they give a bit of trouble. I understand an internal electronics connecting strip (not the proper term) gets overstretched with usage and functions start degrading. I've been...

    TG-6 Flash Problem

I took my TG-6 out of its housing to shoot some nudibranchs in a small salt water aquarium, as I've done before. After about 40 or so shots the shutter wouldn't release and, of course, the built-in flash wouldn't fire. Examination showed that with the flash turned off the shutter released just...

    TG-6 Short Battery Life?

Done two dives to break it in as a back-up camera, and it ran out of power before the end of the dive both times. One with the Olympus Li-90B battery, and once with a Kastar replacement. I'm leery of taking it out again, knowing the mating blue whales are just waiting for it to fail again.

    Alternatives to Olympus O-Grease?

Besides Sea & Sea blue cap, is there any other silicone grease yall use for Olympus housing o-rings?

    Stolen YS-D2 Central California

Along with a Sola 2500F and a PT-EP10 -- for neither of which can I find the serial number -- I also lost a Sea & Sea YS-D2 Model #03117 Serial # YSD216979. At the time neither the strobe or housing had their o-rings, and the Sola light was lacking its recharge cord. Both lights had Sea & Sea...

    Premiere Elements v Olympus

Very newbie question. I want to branch out with my E-PL5 (cuz it's what I got) into video and Premiere Elements was suggested as good, basic, affordable software upon which to start learning editing. There seems to be comment on the web though that PE won't acknowledge Olympus' .MOV or .AVI...

Basic video editing program for E-PL5

Maybe more of a computer question. When I try to edit video in Photoshop CS5 (Import video frames to layers) I get: "Could not complete the Video Frames to Layers command because Quick Time version 7.1 or later is required." but despite downloading, removing, reloading, restarting etc...

E-PL5 Rejecting Sandisk 2.GB Memory Cards. Howcum?

I keep a few low-memory disks as back-up for my E-PL5: 2 x Sandisk 2.0 GB, and decided today, for the first time, to see how many pics each would hold. While both of these fit snugly into my camera, they each elicit a "Card Error" message on my screen and a "Card cannot be formatted" message...

What can you tell me about the Digital Wide Conversion Lens 0.56X?

I bought this in Monterey, CA to try to add some wide angle function to my system. Unfortunately I had to use step-up rings to attach it, and the extra distance from my port narrowed the angle of view, so it got bunted to the back of the dive locker. Years later I dig it out to sell it and can...

EPL-5 60mm lens okay in Zen Dome port for 9-18mm?

Works fine above water, and there's plenty of room, but, never quite understanding node points and suchlike, I'm unsure of optics in the water.

    Desiccant Question

Cheap boho that I am, I wonder if one can use the plastic desiccant 'bins' one finds in vitamin bottles in one's camera housing. I already, successfully, reuse my little bagged desiccants by drying them at low heat in the oven, around 100 degrees, a temperature too low to melt t he plastic.

    Plugging a sync port.

This may be heresy, but I shoot my YS-D1 exclusively with FOCs but after every dive I'm still obliged to clean out the sync port cap and the sync port o-ring. Any suggestions as to how to seal it up and never bother with it again?

Big Dope. Is the ZOOM gear for M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm F2.8, same as...?

Sigh. Some days I'm just about half smart. Does the 60mm lens take the same zoom -- not focus -- gear as the 14-42mm and 9-18mm lens? This for the PT-EP10 housing.

Focus Gear for M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm F2.8, same as...?

Does the 60mm lens take the same focus gear as the 14-42mm and 9-18mm lens? This for the PT-EP10 housing.

    Diopters over dome port?

Probably a dumb question, but if one could rig a system to mount a diopter over a Zen 9-18mm dome port for my E-PL5--without scratching the glass--could one shoot through it with the 14-42mm?

Problems with E-PLR Custom White Balance.

I don't know if anyone else has this problem. My FOCs messed up on my last dive trip and I tried to get around it--somewhat--by using the E-PL5's One Touch White Balance. I'd get to the appropriate screen and "Point the camera at a sheet of white" plastic, press the shutter button and...

Mounting the Zen WA-100 Port on PT-EP10.

Finally got the Zen wide angle port for my Olympus housing and it is a bear to mount. Even with lots of both o-ring and elbow grease I can't get it fully into position--and I'm worried about all the torque I' m putting on the housing trying to get it there. I remember someone addressing this...

Looking for ideas for mounting threads onto PT-EP10

I have an Olympus PT-EP10 underwater camera housing with a glass front port to which I'd like to be able to screw-in and remove a 67mm threaded INON underwater macro diopter. The diameter of the front exterior glass port is 90mm and the lens barrel inside the port is 70mm. Ideally, I'd like...

    PT-EP10 Housing Question

Knoobie kwestion. Thinking of getting the PT-EP10 housing for my E-PL5 and the Olympus site: Underwater Case Usage Guide | Olympus Imaging Asia mentions a zoom gear and an anti-reflective ring. I can, however, find no mention of whether those two items come with the housing. Are they...
