Recently certified diver (check out in a quarry), now going to Aruba with nondiving family. Any suggestions for dive centers that would be particularly accommodating to this 20 year old female with no experience?
I am an advanced open water diver with over 100 dives. I dive solo at my local quarry and I have also been diving in Bonaire solo, without it being an issue. My question is, would the PADI course be of any real value to convincing dive operators in general to allow self relient diving?
How much should I be expecting to pay to have my 15 year old Oceanic regulator and octopus serviced? The system has about 100 dives on it and this will be the 3rd time it's been serviced, The last 2 repairs were from diffrent shops and the cost varied by almost $60.
I'll be going to the St John in early March. Is it really a good idea to reserve a spot on a dive boat or will coming as a walk on be successful? Also, any recommendations for dive shops?
Thaks, Pratt
I'm looking for suggestions for Caribbean destinations where there is good snorkeling as well as diving. Specificly places with shore entry. I've been to St John and it was very favorable in this regard. I hope there are other places almost as nice.
