Using the Suunto App (not Movescount). I can successfully pair my Eon Core with my iPhone and it imports/synchronizes dives. In settings, I turned on the option "Save to Apple Health". And sure enough, when I look in the Activity app on a specific day where I imported a dive, under Workouts...
I have a Suunto Eon Core. I use MacDive for logging. But I'm looking for suggestions on the best dive planning app that works with my Mac and my Eon. The most obvious option is Suunto DM5. But are there others that you would suggest?
Purchased in May when my son & I got our OW certification. He used it during training and then on a trip to Hawaii - less than 25 total dives. The display shield has always been on the watch.
Includes the computer, original (uncut) band, display shield and the Suunto bungee adaptor...
I just wanted to post a quick review of Blue Stone Dive Resort in Thomasville, NC. I learned about it here so I thought it was good form to put up some positive comments in return.
I live in Mooresville, NC. Blue Stone is just over an hour's drive. So it's close... but not as close as the...
$279 computer as pictured. $349 includes everything as pictured plus a Suunto USB cable.
This is as close to new as you'll find. Purchased in May when my son & I were getting certified. It's been used on less than 20 dives. I ended up upgrading to a Vyper Novo.
It comes in the original box...
I haven't tried the Trident (heard about the glue issues and also wasn't keen on gluing something to my lens myself that had moderate (at best) reviews). So I've been trying plastic stick-on's that don't need glue (DiveOptx and their smaller version Hydrotac). Particularly with my Eagleye...
55 year old eyes just aren't what they used to be! About 5 years ago, I had to give up and start relying on readers. Distance vision is just fine... but reading things up close just wasn't there. So on land, I use +2.00 readers.
In the water, with some effort, I can focus on my dive computer...
I live in Mooresville, NC. My son & I did our training at the Lake Norman PDRA Quarry and we just went there this past Sunday. Haven't been to Fantasy Lake or Blue Stone (planning to try Blue Stone this Sunday). What's nice about the quarry here is that it's not "public"... you have to be a...
Thanks! After figuring out all of the pieces, I ended up finding a nice deal on a used Vyper Novo with a wireless transmitter. So instead of an extended console, I'm going to stick with my simple PSI gauge console and use the compass on the Vyper and keep it on my wrist.
I bought a SUUNTO Zoop Novo Wrist Dive Computer about 1 month ago. I am wondering if it also able to be mounted in any type of gauge console? I've seen conflicting information in Google searches on whether it's possible or not. But I'd like to know if it is possible and assuming so, what...
My son & I just got OW certified last month. So now we enter the obligatory period of investing in our first round of equipment. Being beginners and trying to be conscious, we are looking at the used market for some of the more expensive items. We each just found 1-year old BCD's... so now...
