Just fyi since no one ever answered and in case this pops up for others searching...Dura Bag is out of business and has been for about 15 yrs. Made great bags...I have at least 4 with their accessories.
I saw where the software for xp was attached on page one of this thread but the link to it did not work. Anyone have a copy I can get? Also looking for download hardware.

I can tell you from working in the industry for years...any good tech can service it...if they have the parts. If you want to keep the warranty in effect...take it to a auth. dealer. As for having parts...some, but not many, dealers will sell other dealers parts or trade them...I have seen this...
Check out some of the local clubs...Lunarfins is at NASA, Bay Area Divers (BAD) is the local one...and HUC, Houston Underwater Club...that should be a good start.
How come nobody is mentioning the other local Houston area dive option. There is a fourth place besides the 3 mentioned (Blue Lagoon, 288 & Mammoth)?

Just wondering why it is important if they have an on site pool. wanting to test your gear out? If so then why PADI...Wanting to take a class? If they use an indoor heated pool who cares where it is (if it is near by).
There is an agreement between Padi and FFESSM saying that divers from one organization can get the card from the other one just by paying the certification card (no training or proficiency check needed ), provided these 4 dives have been done.

If your lookin for ocean diving forget it unless you can hook up with a local shop or club for a boat trip out to the rigs, etc. There is nothin on the beach around here. Try Bay Area Divers (BAD) for day trips in the gulf.

Never buy used tanks unless you can verify they passed a recent hydro or they are reallyyyyyy cheap!
I mean...brand new 80's are $189 everyday at Divers Paradise in Webster (Clear Lake) so unless it is a real bargain go for a new one.
