Great Lakes, fresh water wrecks, some as old as 100-200 yrs old, still intact, gets my vote, no colorful fish or sharks, but the wrecks are great. I still haven't been to NC or the Keys so i can't compare, but i love the histroy of the old wrecks up here. I am planning on getting to the wrecks...

i will be in orlando, this weekend, till the 19th, is there anything close to orlando worth bringing my gear down to dive?

hey thanks i did the epcot dive 2 yrs ago, it was pretty good, just not sure i can bring myself to paying that much to do it again. is there any good reefs, or wrecks near cocoa beach, or daytona areas? also would need a dive buddy. thanks

we called and were told that the tickets are sold out, so i guess we will try for a spot at spaceview park, unless a fellow scubaboarder has a good view from their place and is willing to share :crafty:

hi everyone, me and my family will be in orlando area at the start of Feb. anyone recommend and snorkel with the manatee company in crystal river area? also a shuttle launch is supposed to happen when we r down there, can anyone recommend a good place to view the lauch from?

i just wanted to say thanks to all the organizers of this years cleanup(ray, rod, terry, john, jim sorry if i forgot anyone). I also wanted to thank the volunteers both shore and underwater. it was nice to see the public walking by and they couldn't believe what we had pulled out of the water...

does anyone have any idea how many divers and non divers are comming out for this event?

I was wondering if anyone in our area has 2 tanks they aren't using this weekend? my brother is in town and wants to go for a few dives. 80's would be nice if possible, we will return them full.

Viz was actually suprisingly decent, Bryan and I had 15-20ft in some spots, and the sand is being moved from the stern of the monarch, saw things i have never seen before
