I know there is an olympus zoom gear for the m.zuiko 12-50. Can't find the number right now. I think it was for the first OM-D.
Does it fit in the Olympus case for e-pl1?

Hmm, maybe it was a mistake, it seems like theres no gear for the 12-50. Anyone tried the Oly gear from the macro on the 12-50? (PPZR-EP03)
I have modified (hacked) my 12-50 internally to go into macro mode when a magnet gets close to the top of the lens, and it goes back - but only to tele when the magnet is removed again.
I will post the modification decription, when I have tested it sufficiently. It requires the lens to be in motor zoom mode, the zoom motor is not powerfull enough to turn the zoom ring.
But I definitely need a zoom gear to operate the lens in motor zoom mode. Any ideas?
