When I shoot macro with this camera it seems that the internal flash even covered with the plastic shield overexposes the picture. Has anyone else had this problem? I would love any suggestions anyone has regarding this issue.

With the DX2G if you are using an external strobe you should turn down the internal flash to 1/8 or even 1/11 power. That should help quite a bit.......
