Was wondering if any one else has troubles with dry gloves on attatching stage bottles to left waist D ring? I put a solid 45 degree billy ring on and it has solved all my problems. I just found it hard to do stage bottle removal and replacement with a d ring that flaps around. No problem without dry gloves but it is to damn cold for wet gloves up here:D

I have a similar problem but mainly because the D ring is just too far round the back and it makes it fiddly. I have already ordered one of the 45 degree ones which can go through the webbing of my waist strap - I'll find out if it works on Saturday.....

Highland Mills has a big selection of stiff D-rings for just such a thing.I have my shoulder D-rings bent in a vise to make them lay up a little bit.
