I guess I can hold off ordering for a week or so to also order a couple of socks. I say a couple because if I get a new light, we both get new lights. Sigh...life is hard.

Any idea on some decent 26500 lithium cells that would work with this? The product page says 3-18 volts... 12 volts vs 4.5 with regular C batteries. Do we know what CREE LED is in this light?

What about dropping in three AAA --> C converters? 3X(3X1.5)= 13.5v.....

That could also work. But I was looking more into going the lithium rechargeable route, so the fewer the batteries the better. I did find some AA to C adapters that could possibly work.

Looks nice. I just bought a Dorcy 220 and waiting for delivery. I thin k I'll send it right back and order one of these lights. I'm doing a wreck dive in the murky waters of San Diego April 1st and it would be a great place to try it out.
