Thanks...I will. Wish you could be there but I would imagine the camp out will be just as fun. I just can't put myself in a tent until fall. Maybe we can revisit this in OCT.
Name the time and place. I'll take any excuse to get to the deep blue clarity.

Had a good time with LTS today. We visited the wall at the Oasis and The Old Scuba Park.
The wall was pretty good. Vis was decent and the temp was just right. Thermocline at 40'.
When we were passing the Scuba Park on the way to the Oasis, we noticed the LCRA cut the buoys Robert laid out. That was task # 1 when we got there; recover the rope. FTWDiver14 and I found it on the 2nd attempt. Robert met us there and took it up to reattach a bottle. Hopefully this one will last. After the rope recovery we followed some new lines to a boat that was discovered not too long ago. On the way there, I lost FTWDiver. Per the book, I looked around a bit, even followed the line back the way we came. No sign. Then I thought about how far I was from Giant Stride and realized if I was to surface, I need to deploy the SMB. Up it went and not 2 seconds after it hit the surface, FTWDiver tapped me on the shoulder. We went ahead and surfaced, went back to the boat and started again. This time we followed the old lines to a couple boats. That's where we saw a HUGE catfsh. About 3' in length and probably 40-50lbs. That sucker was fat! After milling around a bit, we surfaced and called it a day. ...and a good one it was. Met some new divers as well. Hopefully we'll be seeing them on the board here pretty soon.

Great post Brandon. I will also say I VERY much enjoyed the dives today. All were great. Meeting the other divers and other Swampers.
It seems every dive brings a new skill to use. Yeah we got separated a bit, but no panicing, I looked around a bit and waited at the line before heading back the line where I say some familiar fins. I must have just missed Brandon when I got back to the line.
I did learn on my first dive today that when you are inflating the safety sausage be sure that you have a hold onto the reel before you let go of the sausage. I let go of it and it went straight up oh so fast. Oh well, there was only about 90 seconds left on the safety stop at that time and we were pretty close to the Oasis wall and the Giant Stride.
I am looking forward to going out again soon. And once again Robert ran a GREAT boat.

Dug the heck out of the day. Had not enough weight on my first dive in my new farmer john and just sorta bobbed under the surface 'til I figured it out. Added weight and found out just how outta shape I really am in the process. I dropped down to about 45ish feet and worked on skills for about 15 minutes and returned to the boat.
Next dive as Brandon has described. He and FTWDiver are very advanced divers so the new divers kinda let him and Mat go their own way so they could enjoy their day without having to chase us around. We went down to about 40 feet looking at the various platforms, the 3 story houseboat, and something like an old milk truck? We hit about 85' and I got low on air. My sac rate is worse than anyone I've encountered yet, but I still enjoyed the day so much I booked another trip with Robert on Tuesday.
I had a great time and enjoyed being able to put a face to the name FTWDiver and Brandon. I very much look forward to seeing you guys again.
