Thanks, that was interesting to see how they have pulsated movement. It looked close to the reef. Were there any fish working of keeping the ball formed?
 
They're very cool. We call them "Silversides" -- a mixed group of sardines/anchovies...Yes, Don there are sardines here!
Very beautiful when they "waterfall" over the reef.

I have seen those things "en masse" several times, especially at Santa Rosa. Sometimes the same group will be in the same area for a couple of weeks.
