The Wikipedia page on nitrogen narcosis has a table describing the range of symptoms and the depths at which such symptoms are observed. It's not always a euphoric feeling. Even if your fixation wasn't related to narcosis in this case, it's good to be aware of how it can manifest...especially before you decide to do any deep dives.

If the nose bleeds become more frequent, heavier, longer in duration, or just plain bothersome, tell Sam to see a doctor, just to be on the safe side.

:rofl3: That's funny!
But seriously, I hope that the doctor spent a little time asking Sam a few questions and doing a general check-up. An annual physical is a pretty good idea...especially if there's a noticeable change (like frequent nose bleeds). If the nose bleeds get worse, he should definitely make another appointment with the same doctor or perhaps someone different.

Jesus! Not with that doctor...I hope!:shocked2:

good night

The nose thing can happen seasonally. Once the heating season kicks in and the air gets drier, it can result in a little blood for some people. If that sounds like your scenario, do what you can to maintain higher humidity levels where possible.
