I am guessing that all of the other people in this thread are like me. I renewed my support, still have the box checked in my profile, and are now getting pop-ups. I believe that some scubaboard moderator or other staff member needs to click a button for us.
Actually..... the cost of running an internet forum is not epic. Based on the amount of ads that I see on SB, I'd say that this forum probably makes more money than they spend.. The moderators, like divemasters, are basically free labor on most forums. Plus, the owners and mods probably travel and dive for free on scourges and invasions. But that's all totally cool with me because I like the site and all that it has to offer....
Depends how busy a forum is. ScubaBoard is by far and away the most successful diving forum in the world.
