Don't need a speedometer in a car as long as your under 65mph, but its fun to know these things! and it's 66feet! salt water! 69.2 fresh unless your in the mountains! Where water weighs less!

I tried that. Even put a garden tap on between the can and the hose (safety). Being safety minded I only went about ten feet deep. As soon as I oppened the tap, the water flooded in the bottom of the can, damn near drowned myself.

A lack of duct tape on your part does not disprove the proper physics of the physiology!

Did you drowned? No! Success!

I have to ask, has PADI approached you yet? They will want to incorporate your level into their certification! So be sure and tell them a required safety stop is built in!

GOD I LOVE SCUBA! It brings out the best in people!

Anyone can use a flashlight and with all the batteries they are too expensive! Not to mention global warming caused by them! What you do is use kerosene in the top of the bucket as it will not mix with the water and the wick in the top of the bucket will stay light! If you focus the light with a coke bottle as a lens then you will be able to see at least 100ft! Even in muddy water!

I am all about encouraging innovation in SCUBA and keeping it real cheap! God forbid if we don't we will be like Skiing or even worse Bowling! I am sure they will be requiring split fins in Laguna Beach by next summer!

Do you know what Fanny Pack means in the UK?
