Aeris Oceanlog V1.07

So I just noticed that Aeris published a version 1.07 a few weeks
ago in their technical support section.
Anybody tried this yet?
The version that came on my CD was version 1.02
Just wondering if there are any noticeable changes/updates/fixes.

It's pretty buggy for me, I'm going back to 1.02

1.02 had quite a few issues.
So you are saying it was actually WORSE than 1.02?

I didnt have any issues with 1.02. Only issue I really had was after I downloaded my dive and it tried to launch the program, it would hang. That bug is still there for me in 1.07. With 1.07, after I download a dive then edit the Location/Buddy fields, it saves a duplicate entry of that same dive.

Interesting issue with the duplicate entries. Have you looked
at the access database file? I bet they aren't properly tagging
the old entry when they add the updated entry.

The hanging issue you see on 1.02 I also had AFTER I applied the
USB download patch. I ended up removing all the s/w and now
run with the 1.02 distribution straight off the CD and no longer
have any hang issues. I would not recommend downloading
and installing their USB download patch.

I've sent an e-mail in to the guy I've been talking to at Aeris
about the PC s/w. I'll see what his response is about v1.07
