I'm 53...er...when I remember. I've been diving since 7 years old with my father. It was free diving then. He used to make much of his equipment.
I saw Jacques Cousteau in Miami when he did a tour of the Silent Planet...no IMAX then. It was sooo cool.
Mae West...well, first she's dead...She was a stripper and appeared in a few movies. Rather buxom...hence the name for a life preserver.
You may remember some of her lines from old movies..."Why don't you come up and see me some time, big boy?" or "Is that a gun in your pocket or are your just glad to see me?" "A hard man is good to find!" "Goodness, what beatiful diamonds !" -- "Goodness had nothing to do with it, dearie". "When I'm good, I'm good. When I'm bad, I'm very good".
