This was a difficult clean up by Degan Walters, John Webb, Cameron Jackson and myself. The visibility is down to about 6-8 inches and of course once you picked up a piece of garbage, your visibility went down to zero. Degan had a leak in the suit so she aborted her dive while the rest of us carried on.

Due to the poor visibility, our productivity was very low. The total garbage weight was only 41.6lbs. Most of the garbage consisted of swimmer's items such as cheap mask and snorkels, children's toys, random shoes, and throwing disks.

The surveyed area was very small. We still have another half a swimming area to clean, as well as the South beach. The rangers in the park were again very happy for our contribution and they are happy to assist us when we return for the rest of the garbage.

(part one because there is so much garbage and the lake is so hard to clean that we will have to go back a few more times)
