I had an Epic Fail today during my Advanced Open Water cert and ended up literally crawling over a bunch of rocks (boulders) at the shore for at least 15 minutes. I was "bashed" against the rocks and fought to climb over and around them until I was able to fight the tide and get a little deeper.

My Fusion Sport Skin shows no evidence of this at all...
My instructor even commented on how surprised he was that it didn't show a scratch.

*edit*
Upon further inspection, the knees have some minor scratches that we didn't notice last night.
I'm just shocked there isn't a hole or tear in the skin.

It's been my experience that those suits are amazingly hard to hurt. I did finally manage to put a hole in mine by falling off a dive boat in Florida, but I think any suit would have torn in that incident!

That is good to know. My new Fusion Tech is coming on the brown truck of happiness (UPS) on Wednesday. I did lots of research and hope I have made a good decision.

Being a diver with bifocals and bad knees, I have tested my Fusion Tech durability a bunch! Several times I've accidentally found myself in full kit, examining crushed oyster shells at very close range! One memorable post-dive hike found me face down in the street in front of Salty's restaurant at Redondo. I crawled on my knees to the curb, stopping diners in mid fork as they scrambled to get it all on video. My Tech skin looks new.. I love that suit!

Oh, my goodness, Zeke! I wouldn't worry so much about the suit in that incident, but I'd worry about ME!

I have to say Redondo hasn't challenged me as much as the rolling rocks at the Coves, though :)

I see I neglected to mention the rocks were covered with barnacles.

If you've been to Sund Rock you know the ones I'm talking about.
