Pretty low tech question...I need to pick up a couple of analog SPGs. Was just wondering if anyone has any experiences (good/bad) or recomendations. The three I am looking at are OMS, Dive Rite (small one), and Halcyon.

Thanks very much!

don’t get the large OMS gauge, the gauge does not come with 100 psi increments - it's 250.

I personally have Halcyon guage and love it. Very solid, good quality SPG. starting tomorrow, check out http://www.abysmal.com, their stuff wil be on sale, and I think the SPG is very similar. They’re actually only about 3 or 4 companies in the world that make SPG's, hence the similarity.

The small brass OMS SPG with 100psi increments is the only piece of equipment I would own from that company - it's pretty nice. (okay, maybe a set of their lightweight 50cf doubles, but THAT's IT!). You even get a free 30-something inch HP hose you can eBay. LeisurePro has the best price usually.

www.northeastscubasupply.com also has these, and a few others to choose from.
