Annual Dive Travel Insurance

I have DAN Diver Insurance and I am getting ready to renew my DAN Travel Insurance Policy for the third year. It has gone up over $1100.00 from last year. It is almost $1500 for their middle level coverage. I am shocked by the huge increase in price. Can anyone recommend other policy for annual multi trip coverage ? Has anyone else seen the huge increase in the DAN Travel Policy?

My DAN insurance this year was eur 88.70.
I think it already covers all the cases which are not already covered by my normal insurance against accidents (which costs 550 €/year).
I did look at the additional coverage provided by the DAN Travel Insurance Policy, and from what I understand there is nothing which is not already covered, either by my "Sport Silver" DAN policy, by my normal insurance against accidents, and my Amex Gold (travel cancellations, etc.).
Are you sure of needing this DAN Travel Insurance Policy?

Check Allianz. Our annual travel policy is $500 per person. We had a claim a few years ago and other than a lot of paperwork, it was not a problem getting our non refundable money claim paid. If you decide on Allianz and you are going to also insure a spouse, take out two separate policies.

You might consider giving your insurance broker a call. Also, many credit cards include a travel insurance component. I have DAN diver insurance which is very reasonable but also travel insurance through a Canadian company. But have a look at this: The Best And Worst Travel Insurance Companies

You don't need the travel insurance, only the membership and dive insurance. I called them and confirmed this last week.

Have a look at diveassure.
Inexpensive dive only insurance which covers you for diving incidents including days lost due to weather.
Also travel insurance which covers all travel and also dive related incidents but with less cover than the specific dive insurance.
I buy both because the specific dive insurance also covers me when I dive at home.
