US Navy's new generation sonar is suspected to damage hearing organs of whales.
The sonar is called Surtass-LFA ( Low frequency Active Array Sonar ) that can submit strong waves more than 200 db.

Recently China submarines are operating in the area actively for sea bed natural resources thus US Navy are suspected to use LFA's to watch the submarine activities.
