Could you explain the sonic blasters? How do they work? Do you just toss in hand grenades or something? All those years of watching Thunderball have got the best of me I think...

I am not an expert but from what I have heard sends out ultrasonic waves that break the wall of the algae cells and kills the algae.

I was there this last weekend, and because of the heat the algae has really taken over and vis is only about 5-8ft

The algae was horrible. I'd say 3-5' at best. That was a tough $20 to swallow. We did one dive and split.
