As I sit here and finish a tub of ice cream in post-easter bliss I wondered is anyone devout enough to give up diving for lent? Thought about it? What did you give up instead?

Well im a devout atheist with a particular lack of patience for anyone that isn't so its not a problem for me :)

As an atheist I think it is important to enjoy every minute of life as long as I don't hurt other people, so giving up something I love would be against my core beliefs.

On the other hand, since I really enjoy diving and if I were filled with catholic remorse/ guilt, diving and Ben and Jerries would have to go for Lent :)
