Apeks ATX series observation

Sorry, what I should have said is that the TX100 and the ATX100 are not available in the U.S. They are on the Apeks UK website, but not on the Seaquest website and are not available to U.S. dealers.

Another difference I noticed this week wrapping my girlfriend's christmas present (good thing she doesn't read ScubaBoard ut: ) is that the ATX40 primary comes with the comfobite mouthpiece, and the ATX40 octopus comes with the old standard mouthpiece found on the TX series (which isn't as nice in my opinion). Might be a transitional thing while they get rid of old mouthpiece inventory.

This is not the case. The octopus has the standard mouthpiece, because otherwise they would not fit in the special mouthpiece protector.

See the attachment and you will find out why the comfobite will not fit the mouthpiece protector.

In Germany, the ATX100 is $90 cheaper than the ATX200. That why I choose the ATX100.

by the way. has anyone got the new service manuals for the ATX-series?

My ATX 200 has the comfort-bite mouthpiece and I believe this is standard.

I find it to be the most comfortable mouthpiece I've ever had.
