auqalung legend lx acd at leisurepro for 399 or sherwood sr1 at local sports chalet for the same price?

I dive mostly in socal LA area in 60s water.

That decision would take me less than a second. Legend LX: stellar track record of about 9 years. Sherwood SR1: short track record-not so stellar.

Agreed, the AL has a much longer track record, the internals of the first stage have their roots in the 60's. A solid proven design.
