Dear Friends,
I just dove my new Atomic Liquid Blue Fins at Gilboa Quarry on Friday 8/1. They dove a little different than my TUSA X-pert Zooms, but they did dive well! I would have to say the Zooms are more efficient than the Atomic, however, when I wanted to go fast, I went really fast!!!! Also, your foot fits wonderfully in the fin and never wanted to come loose. (My Zooms were prone to doing that!)
I can't say the Atomic's where that much better than the Zoom's, but I could see alot of diving applications where they would be. (Current, different kicks, etc) I must say, for recreational diving with little challenges, nothing dives easier than the Zooms! This not a statement that the new Atomics are bad, however, it is a statement on how good the Zoom's are!
