The wife and I are going to be headed over to Avalon on Friday to get in some dives. It will be her 1st dives since we did our advanced cert last May with Chris at Scuba Luv because we found out the next day she was pregnant with our daughter. In any case, how have the water temps been running? I am trying to figure out if I am going to need the hooded vest or if the 7 mm will cut it.

They've been a bit variable lately, running from upper 50s to mid 60s depending on your depth and whether currents are running. My latest dive was only to 40 ft (to lessen the chance of encountering the great white in the park that day) and the min temps were 62-64 F
