Knowing that the Comal is one of the shortest rivers in Texas, care to share the dive profile?

Do you transit the big chute while on scuba?

Hmmm....wonder if you could sneak in a AL30 and a regulator into Schlitterbahn?

The profile is easy, go to the bottom, stay there until it runs out then stand up and do it over again...:D

The chute is to shallow for scuba, you would bust you butt on the bump at the bottom.

Why Schlitterbahn? there plenty of barly covered booties on the river, for free.

What time should we all meet there?

I am voting we all meet at WHATABURGER at 11:00 AM, that way we grab some good grub, and dive!

This time I think I'll bring 2 tanks.

I told everybody jack in the box at 11:00..........we'll get whataberger on the way out ......again...:D

I've GOT A HUGE PROBLEM

Someone help who is going, I need tank in the morning somehow, two 80ML / air!

1 will be ok too, but does anyone who is coming diving to the comal, have an extra, or is anyone who is coming know if there are any DS in New Braunfels open that early?

Ok I think I found a DS in Oak Hill that is open at 10am, Since we are all meeting at 11am, could you guys be nice, and wait about 15 minutes for me :)?

If I am out of the DS by 10:15 I should be at Jack in the Box by 11:00-11:15 :)

I'll have an extra 80 and prob. a 60 with me....

TexasMike once bubbled...

Do you transit the big chute while on scuba?
Last time I was down there we finally got up the courage to go down the big kahuna tube chute on scuba .What a rush!!!!!
words cannot describe it .

Well we went, and it was fun meeting some new people!

I unfortunately had a crappy dive preparation.

1. I took out the wrong BC, grabbed the tiny one.

2. I forgot to turn on my air entering the water.

3. I kicked up mucho dirt :(

4. I had some bouyancy issues, with getting under the surface :(

Bad day...

To top it all off... There were Caterpillars falling out of the sky!!!

Not my usual self today..
