Again, naivete here. Are the following holes used to adjust for diver height? Ignoring brand, if you are able to, is the backplate on the right somehow more adjustable for height than the one on the left. Violating my own condition now: does anyone know how long the ScubaPro plates are? Thanks.

They're used to adjust where the wing will sit relative to your plate in single tanks. You have to use a wing with an STA to make use of these holes and then you can move the STA up or down in those holes. The 2 sets of vertical slots along the spine of the plate are for the cambands if you use a wing that can be used without an STA.

For double tanks, it lets you also adjust where the tanks will be in a similar fashion. This is useful for trim adjustments which can be harder with doubles depending on which tanks you use.

The plate on the right will give you more options for position.

Of course, you can also make adjustments for where the entire rig will sit relative to your body by adjusting the harness itself.

Same as any other plate, any normal plate at least, SP is same size as Halcyon
