Scuba temps in the "85-88F" range in Oct are pretty hard to believe.

My husband is going in Jan. Stuart's Cove said that the water and air temp should be around 72. If you are doing repetitive dives, I would take the 3mm full suit at the MINIMUM! If you don't have a 5mm, take your skin along to layer it for some extra warmth. It is much easier to cool off than try to get warmer. Have a great trip!
 
Well we got back Sunday night. My wife and I both took our 3mm suits. We were just right in that degree of thermal protection. The water temperture was between 75 and 79 degrees depending on the site we were at and whose computer you believe. Air temp was 81 to 83 degrees. After diving there I think I would save my shorty until summer, but on a very shallow dive like the Fish Farm, the shorty may have been enough.
