I'd have to disagree, Rich. I loved the Stav. It's one of the prettiest wrecks I've ever dove and I had a great dive. We dove the deck at 100ft, which gave us 20min bottom time on air. The deck is probably the best feature of the wreck. There's lots of structure to explore - the cabins, walkways, swimthroughs, stairs, etc. You could do half a dozen dives on her and still not see the whole ship. We had great vis on the dive, no current, and were able to circumnavigate most of the deck in 1 dive (without exploring too much). It was a beautiful dive, and I'd dive it again in a heartbeat.
Granted, my opinion may have been different if I dove it in a strong current like I believe you did (if my memory of your report doesn't fail me). As it was, it turned out to be a great dive.
We didn't get a chance to dive the Pamir. They dove it on the morning that we couldn't make it - per your recommendation I was really looking forward to diving it.
