Beginners looking to dive in Miami Beach area

I will be in the Miami Beach area in late Oct (the 25th to be exact)looking to do one days worth of diving. I wish I had the time to dive more. I have been certified for less than a year, and wanted to know if anyone could point out any shops and dive sites that are highly reccommended for beginners.

What are the "must do's" in the area.

There have been a few posts about beach diving Miami Beach, and generally its a no go. Now, if you are willing to travel north to Broward County there is a dive party that weekend. You are most welcome to join us. It is easy diving, lots of folks to buddy with and a chance to put faces to the names

Of course I am assuming you are interested in beach diving and not necessarily boat diving.
