The dreaded 5 year interval has come yet again, and you must send your cylinder off for a new hydro-static test. No one really likes being with out their tanks, but it is a necessary procedure that must be done. So what exactly is a hydro test, and how is it performed. Well, we got a private invite, behind the scenes at Burgess Fire and Protection (the hydro facility we use), to witness first hand how they perform a Hydro-Static Test. Thank You to Mike and Bobby for inviting us, and showing us the steps to hydro a scuba cylinder. Hope you enjoy the video.
