I'll go for the weekend, mostly to schmooze with some people that I don't get to see otherwise.

I've been attending for more that 5 years now, and would not miss anything about it. I always loke to go to the PSD conferencee, and to some of the free seminars. This year I want to go to the Great Lakes wreck seminare, and the one by Bob Marx. All should be interesting. Try going to Beneaththesea.com for the flier.

There are several differences between BTS and DEMA. First, anyone can get into BTS. DEMA has restrictive admission. Second, BTS may allow you to order selective stuff, but not necessarily a lot of stuff. I used to volunteer at the show. I would definately say one day is enough to spend unless you are taking a course. There are usually a lot of resort places and dive operators there trying to get you to sign up or make reservations. I would suggest going the last day of the show, vendors are likely to want to get rid of stuff they brought so they don't have to pack it back up. Have a great time.

Hi everyone,
I am looking for anyone who is interested in volunteering for Beneath The Sea this year. The show runs and I need volunteers for the following...

March 27, 2009 6pm-9pm need 2 volunteers only get in that night

March 28, 2009 9am-5pm need 3 volunteers to take turns during the day. Need to be available all day. Will get breaks. Will get passes for entry for the entire weekend

March 29, 2009 9am-4:30pm need 3 volunteers to take turns during the day. Need to be available all day. Will get breaks. Will get passes for entry for the entire weekend.

For volunteering to work the booth you will receive a ScubaBoard t-shirt, stickers, and pins. If you volunteer for Sat. or Sunday shifts, you will receive a pass on Friday if you need, and can get in everyday. Working the SB booth you meet and greet people, and if they haven't heard of SB you can show them on our laptops, and give them an explanation of what SB is. I have instructions completely written out so it is very easy and a lot of fun. If you are interested please PM me and I will get back to you. Thank you everyone for your support of SB and I hope to see you at BTS!!
