I agree with stuartv-the Xtar D26 is a great light.
It is well within your budget, the beam is tight with more than adequate lumens (I mostly used the middle setting my most recent night dive), has a good form factor and switch, and the 26650 battery gives extended "burn" time. I use Keeppower 5200 mAh 26650 cells-these have been verified and highly reviewed on candlepowerforums.com and are available on Amazon.
