I'm curious if anyone has good experiences with DIY bolt snap connection points for the 200 ft rated Sony housing shown below? Any ideas will be greatly appreciated.

I believe there is a threaded portion on the bottom for mounting. You can probably get an eye bolt that size and then either a standard bolt snap with a quick-link, or just a double-ender.

Yeah, I thought about it. Doesn't sound terribly secure though. With permanent threadlocker perhaps.

Almost all U/W cameras are held to almost all trays by a simple 1/4-20 bolt. I don't see the problem! D-Rings
