Ok I get that Bonaire has a no gloves rule. Do they allow you to wear them if you are taking a lionfish hunting class? Getting hit really does not sound like fun.

yes you are allowed to use gloves while hunting lionfish. but you are only allowed to hunt lionfish under the direct supervision of a dive pro on the island... contact Bonaire DIve and Adventure to take their PADI lionfish awareness and elimination course with instructor Carl (then go to his restaurant paradise moon and help out more by eating the lionfish ceviche)
