Is this the guy that designed the Zeagle quick release wieght system BC?

I met him in Zephyr Hills, Florida in the 70's and I know he designed the 3 ring capewell quick relase system on my skydiving rig.

I was told he did the BC also...is this true?

Two totally different things...

The 3 ring release that Bill Boothe invented isn't the same as the weight release system we use.

The 3 ring release was designed to release a parachute, in case of malfunction. The ripcord weight release system that we use is based on the closure system on a parachute pack - it is kind of like comparing apples to oranges.

Thanks,

Scott
