If the waist harness isn't already too low, lower the entire thing with longer shoulder strap portions. I am diving a soft pack right now and have the cam bands as high as possible on the tank to keep from hitting my head. After my current trip, I'm probably going to switch my wing to a plate so I can adjust for this very thing.
