Dear All,
My brand new SL6 flooded the 1st dive just last week during my trip. I didn't silicon grease it & loaded it with batteries, tightened. It was check in onboard the plane for the rest of travel with the rest of my dive gears.

After it flooded, I dry it as instructed in the manual & use it again, still didn't grease. It flooded a 2nd time. Could it have been a faulty torch or was it just the way I use it?

Now, it works but the switch is always "on" even if the indication is "off". I still notice small bubbles coming out from the bezel when I place it into a pail of water after I've greased it. But after awhile it's gone.

Questions:
1) Do I need to grease it before the very 1st dive?
2) Why does it floods?
3) Why is it always "on" now?
4) Is the bubbling for a while normal?

Thank you all for your advise.
