I've looked on their website and can't seem to locate any info on insurance rates for the trucks when you book the Drive and Dive pkg. Can someone tell me? And I understand some of the rental places have a higher rate if you want vandalism coverage.

There should be a link to a .pdf of the rental agreement that you can fill out before your arrival. It explains the insurance. BD ran out of trucks our last visit so we had to rent from AB instead. Their trucks were a lot nicer and I liked their full insurance better than BD's. AB's full insurance allowed you to walk away with no inspection - before or after rental.

It is on their website at http://www.buddydive.com/pdf/car_rent_agreement.pdf. It says:

Buddy's trucks are pretty old, we had 3 break down in 10 days. Tail gate fell off one, brake line broke and stater died on the last.

All was taken care of still a pain. I would think anything less than a big crash would have been hard to tell on the 3 of them. Take a iphone photo and video of anyone you pick up.

Photos are a good idea, even with full insurance coverage. There is still potential $100 liability.
The trucks are old and beat up so good to document for yourself.
By the way, standard transmission.
