Hi

I tried to respond to your PM but got the message "the recipient either cannot receive personal messages or has disabled this feature" or words to that effect. Just to let you know I wasn't ignoring you :D

I normally dive with Tofo Scuba in Moz - by far the best outfit in the area.
For Tigers maybe try one of the operators on the Durban South coast.

Hi Diving Dog,
I suggest you must do white shark cage diving in the Cape, then move on to Aliwal Shoal where you will find raggies and tiger sharks at that time of year. I

Something went wrong Diving dog,
If you are travelling by vehicle Southern Mozambique is Okay must go to PONTA MAMOLI, then up to the North to Guinjatabay which I think is the best, however, there are many other good destinations in that area.
I do run a tour company specialising in diving, if you would like my help, please send me a mail.
john@guinjatabay.co.za - Skype (justsharks) also please visit my website Mozambique fishing and diving Resorts,dive at Guinjata Bay,Barra Lodge,Flamingo Bay,Promene Lodge,Barra Lodge,Flamingo Bay,Indingo Bay,Matembo Island,Mejumbe Island,Pemba Resort,Ponta Malomi
Kind regards,
John

Just note - you will only be able to drive into southern Moz if you have a 4x4 or arrange for the resort to collect you at the border post.

hi

i lived for a couple of month in SA and in Moz I was diving there too. So i would recommend the sodwana bay, in SA great diving with sharks and a lot of other great stuff.
Barra ( Barra reef divers) or Tofu is the question in Moz. i tried both and i have to say it is both great diving but at barra the diving is not so stressful, but at Tofu you can see plenty of mantas at the manta reef and a lot of whale sharks.
i was also diving at vilanculos with the odyssseadive.com. really nice people there too. and the diving is also nice and the beaches are great to relax.

I've not been there, but I'm planning to go around november as well, so maybe we'll run inot eachother. Jeg er forøvrigt også dansker......

Our plan is to spend quite a bit of time at tofo (i wont be leaving without having seen a whale shark... i've done a lot of dives in honduras without seing one, and this time it has to be... hehe). I talked to a girl who ended up spending two weeks there, diving and just kicking back - supposedly a great place.

But we will most likely also be going to the north of moz, so pemba and bazuratu (spelling) might also be on the programme, as well as lake malawi. everything i've read about moz sounds absolutely great, so i guess we're in for a very good time.
