Thanks a lot! I have already contacted brian, bahamas undergroung, However he is in Abaco and I am headed to Grand Bahama, I know it is close but still requires a flight and hassle, i am trying to find something on Grand Bahama itself, if not will dive in Abaco...

cheers
Firat

On Grand Bahama contact Cristina Zenato at UNEXSO. I know the web site appears to be all recreational diving, but Cristina is also a cave instructor. She can get you set up with any gear / gas / guide you may need.

As someone previously mentioned, owl hole and mermaids lair are great dives!!!

Thank you Mark for the fantastic experience.
Can you tell us how deep is this "forest" and how far in, how many restrictions to pass before reaching it??

I am sorry if this is too late do do you any good.
Contact Christine at UNEXO Grand Bahama, or Ben Cook at the NACD web site. Either can guide you.

Owls hole and Mermaids Lare are hard to find without a guide. There are no signs just dirt roads. I have dived both, they are 75 ft plus, depending on which turn you take and well worth the effort.

Happy caveing
