I use an MR22 Abyss with 7 ft standard hose.
I put the long hose in the 2nd lp port (octopus)
The large diameter hose goes on the bungy around my neck.
My back up is an MR12-III 2nd stage. (metal & same vortex tube as Abyss)
I have noticed no change in breathing resistance down to 200 ft, which is my current limit on trimix, and 120ft on air.
