looks kinda cool and price is decent will have to do some more research might be a good choice for me

The specs say that it uses the Buhlmann ZHL-16C algorithm.

But, the User Manual then says this:

Personal Setting
You may adjust condition settings up to 3 levels depending on your expereance and condition.
Depending on your settings, decompression computations may vary, where as setting to POOR decreases your non-decompression limit,
set to NORMAL for average computation
set to POOR for when diving conditions including the user are not so good
set to GREAT for when diving conditions including the user are excellent

So, it appears that what other computers call "Conservatism", this computer calls "Personal Setting".

There is no explanation of exactly how the Buhlmann algorithm is modified to vary the decompression calculations based on the Personal Setting.

I'd say that this is yet another recreational computer that is BASED ON the Buhlmann algorithm. But, it's obviously not actually Buhlmann. Actual Buhlmann does not vary the computation based on a user's personal rating of themselves or conditions.

It MIGHT be using Buhlmann with Gradient Factors, in which case the Personal Setting options presumably correspond to different values for the GFs. But if it is, they really should say so and say what GFs each personal setting corresponds to.

The good thing is that Dive Gear Express Customer Service is possibly only matched by Shearwater's. Anyone in the market for a computer with these characteristics can buy from DGX with no fear of getting stuck with a lemon.

that is 334 not 300 big difference lol

They drop down to below $300 periodically, was even below $200 once. On top of that, it's a rebadged ratio, not a brand-new startup, and comes with a documented algorithm (though one may argue with their choice of GF presets). It is not a colourful smartwatch shiny!, though.
