Woke up this morning to see that my D6i has a dead display, absolutely nothing, just a grey screen. It also wont react to any button push.
I usually wear it as a watch and it was fine last evening showing time.
Was diving with it just this August with Battery sign OK.
I had recently checked approx. 3 weeks ago to enter dive mode and battery check was OK.
The battery was last changed in January 2016 by Suunto Service center.
Would that be warranty work? Not sure what happened to just lose the display completely.

Ok, all done! Yes it was ONLY the battery dead. Had it replaced and pressure tested. There is another Suunto Service now in TX, Aggieland Scuba in College Station (its only a 1h 30min drive from Houston). Perfect service and all was set and done within 30min. Had the Pressure transmitter Recall done as well. :thumb::thumb:
Lesson, REPLACE Battery after approx 18 months weather the low battery sign shows or not.
